Sales Model Selection: Choosing the Best Structure to Deliver Your Revenue Goals

March 6, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

| TIGER Workshop

8000 Walton Parkway Suite 200
New Albany, OH 43054 United States

Strong, growing streams of revenue are the lifeblood of all successful companies! And, there are a myriad of channels, strategies, and tactics available for businesses to use to grow their top-line revenue.

With so many options, business leaders typically have lots of questions. These questions are particularly crucial and challenging for new businesses and for other innovative companies launching products into new categories and markets.

For example, is a traditional outside sales force your best approach in 2019 to build a strong customer base? Can you be more effective and efficient leveraging a modern e-commerce platform? How about using an inside sales approach? And, is “inside sales” the same as telemarketing?

Once you’ve chosen your primary sales approach, how do you create a repeatable and scalable process that will be a key component of a comprehensive and highly effective sales and marketing strategy?

Participants in this TIGER Workshop will leave with a much clearer understanding of the relative advantages of, and trade-offs between, various sales structures and job functions that fuel revenue growth at companies of all sizes, in all industries.

Speaker: Dan Hersh – President/Founder, Engaged Prospect

Dan has spent the better part of the last two decades leading national sales teams and selling to a range of high level decision makers in a variety of industries. His work has focused on blending the best sales and marketing strategies with the most current and productive technology to deliver outstanding outreach and service through effective and efficient processes. Dan has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and is a published author focused on sales process and job design.

Dan’s functionally-focused career experience has enabled him to become an industry leader in the successful selection and implementation of sales strategies and marketing processes that drive new business.

Through Dan’s work, he realized many small and midsize companies don’t have the resources or capacity to implement the best sales programs, so he founded Engaged Prospect (EP) in 2015 to help these companies. EP’s goal is to offer robust sales and marketing services, reduce the cost of implementing best-in-class sales departments, and produce better business development results.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys traveling the country with his wife and also competing in national platform tennis tournaments. He loves to complete, something that aligns well with leading sales teams.

Speaker: Sam Stein – Vice President, Engaged Prospect

Engaged Prospect is a leading sales and marketing firm that works with SMBs to build scalable and repeatable net new business sales campaigns. Sam values the trust his clients give Engaged Prospect to achieve their paramount sales goals. He has continually exceeded sales goals as an individual producer, and now works to create and execute inside sales and lead generation marketing strategies for dozens of clients.

An undergraduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising Management, Sam also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Syracuse University, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching graduate degree from Chatham University. Sam resides outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children. When time permits, he performs and teaches drums and percussion, a passion of his since childhood.
