At 6:30pm in the ILHS Commons we'll be hearing from JoLynn Berge, NSD deputy superintendent and CFO, on the state of the NSD 24-25 budget. This presentation will be in-person only.
At 7pm in the ILHS Commons & via Zoom* we'll have our PTSA meeting. **This is a super important meeting so we need as many members to attend as possible so we can meet quorum to vote!**
We will hear updates from Ms. Tiffany & incoming ASB leaders, vote in our new PTSA officers and approve a preliminary budget for the 2024-2025 year!

The Washington State PTA Uniform Bylaws permit the nomination of candidates “from the floor” at the meeting where the vote will take place. Since our meeting will be held virtually & in-person on Thursday, May 16th, “nominations from the floor” were done using an online form prior to the meeting and closed on May 8th at 11:59PM.
The election of officers will take place at our meeting on May 16th @ 7pm in-person at ILHS or via Zoom. You can request the link from president@ilhsptsa.org.
Better World Day (BWD) and the Spring Showcase are coming up on Wednesday, May 22nd!
We're looking for some volunteers to help out during BWD and we're also looking for a few outdoor games/activities donations or to borrow for the Spring Showcase event.

WHAT IS BWD: Students at ILHS have been working on projects to better their school, their community or the world since fall of this year. This event is the culmination of their work. They share their projects with their peers with displays and presentations.
WHAT IS SPRING SHOWCASE: An open-house type of event for current, incoming and interested families to view student projects. There will be informational tours, staff and students to answer questions, students talking about projects, a food truck (or two), music, activities and outdoor games.

We're looking for donations of food stuff as well as a few volunteers to help flip pancakes, set-up & clean-up.

Raising for Ravens, our yearly fundraiser, is LIVE!
Funds raised go to power our PTSA grant program benefiting school/staff/students, staff appreciation events, the Reflections program, the Senior Breakfast, support for the school Maker Space, managing emergency preparedness supplies AND MORE!
The more we raise, the more we can do for our school, students and staff!
This fundraiser is a direct ask fundraiser. What does that mean? It means that we won't ask you to sell chocolates or wrapping paper or cookie dough or delicious pastries that you'll eat too many of. We also won't use any outside companies to run this fundraiser. And that means that every single penny that is donated goes right to ILHS!

Presales of 2024-2025 Memberships Happening NOW!
ILHS PTSA Memberships purchased through our "Early Raven Pre-Sale" will become active before the first day of school and will be good for the 2024-2025 school year.
Presales will close on June 25th, 2024.
Anyone can join our PTSA - caregivers, students, teachers, staff members, grandmas, uncles, friends, community members - the list goes on!
