Responsible for the aseptic transfer of all materials, supplies and donors to ensure a safe and effective process of all tissue forms for all of Edison and Jessup Processing operations.

In addition, the Process Technician will be responsible to work independently as well as in a team environment in the operations value chain in a 24/7 operation. This position may require mandatory overtime to meet business needs which include the scheduled workday as well as weekends and holidays.

Lead, direct and actively clarify/focus the daily activities of the Lyophilization Department. Monitor and maintain all aspects of the Lyophilization department including process flow, production expectations, department supplies and work areas. Direct and support 5S strategies to help the Support Services department attain and sustain clean and organized work stations and work areas. Respond and provide feedback to all questions or concerns from other departments which involve the Lyophilization department.
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for directing all activities related to Processing in a controlled and regulated medical device environment. This position requires the Supervisor to work closely with Management and Team Leaders to assign processing resources to meet production demands in an ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certified cleanroom. This position requires the Supervisor to work cross functionally with multiple departments to manage and support the process. The Supervisor will oversee daily operational activities through key performance indicators to monitor process performance. The Supervisor will actively manage the team inside the core processing areas and ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), corporate Policy and MTF Quality Standards. The Supervisor will work closely with the training team to develop employee competencies needed for flexibility, responsiveness and employee growth.
Provides comprehensive support to the Procurement Department and the Donor Services Division (DSD) as the primary liaison with all external vendors, MTF personnel and Recovery Partners for procurement-related supplies and equipment. Additionally provides support for administrative functions within the Procurement Department and the Donor Services Division.
Screen and evaluate donors with Recovery Member staff to ensure potential donors meet MTF�??s criteria as established by the Medical Board of Trustees. Perform, coordinate and/or triage all functions of the Tissue Services recovery program/clients relating to the referral from donor sources; determining medical suitability with processor, obtaining appropriate authorization and medical/behavioral history, and coordination of recovery arrangements. Responsible for entering donor information into various donor databases. Manage workflow of referrals and ensure that shift performance adheres to established standards. Display respect for the donor and donor family at all times and maintain donor confidentiality. Must be able to work rotating shifts.
The Organ Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating all activities related to allocating and utilizing human organs from donors for medical research. Must possess first-hand knowledge and experience in performing organ allocation for transplantation to perform medical-criteria screening, organ allocation and placement, coordination of operating room surgical recovery time with organ readiness, organ transportation and travel logistics, communication and documentation. Must be able to maintain critical thinking in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and executing time sensitive tasks for multiple organ donors simultaneously. Follows cases through various phases of the donation process during business and non-business hours including weekends and holidays. Serves as a representative of IIAM and MTF Biologics, communicating with various organizations including Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), research entities, and other key individuals and groups in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
Responsible for selling, promoting and servicing assigned products to current and prospective customers to achieve organizational goals in an assigned territory.
Acts as the leading processing specialist for a group of processing technicians and directs the daily activities in frozen and fresh tissue production lines. Maintains an orderly, safe and productive environment for the assigned group. Assists in arranging the work schedule to best utilize the resources of the shift in meeting the production plan. Monitors all process rooms daily to assure safety and quality standards are being maintained and Standard Operating Procedures are followed. Validates processes and equipment as needed.
The Donor Screening Specialist will coordinate all functions and documentation of information related to the donor referral process. Screen and evaluate donors with referring agencies to ensure potential donors meet medical criteria for donation. This role will perform and coordinate all Triage functions and determine medical suitability with processors. Manage work flow of referrals from initial contact through secondary medical screening of a donor. Donor Screening Specialist will serve as a representative of Statline; to interact and communicate with referring agency personnel, processors and other key individuals and groups in a manner that will reflect positively on the organization. Position must display respect for the donor and donor family at all times and maintain donor confidentiality.

The Triage Coordinator/Triage Coordinator-Transplant (TC) is responsible for responding to incoming calls from hospitals and other referring agencies for both initial and update calls, collecting data regarding potential donors to determine if they are candidates for donation, and informing the caller of donation potential. In addition, this position will handle all organ allocation related processes for donation, transplantation and research. The TC will also be responsible for conducting medical interviews via phone with transplant patients or their designee to update their medical records relative to their transplant waitlist status. Additionally, they are responsible for completion of Fresh Tissue process regarding tissue testing on fresh tissue grafts, and data entry related projects or service.

The primary responsibility of this role includes managing customer calls, which range from simple to complex, across a wide spectrum of topics, as well as processing orders via phone, , email or fax, including providing order status updates and shipment confirmations. Customer Service Representatives must excel at cross-functional collaboration, both internally and externally with business partners, to ensure that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and customer issues are resolved promptly and appropriately. The individual must comply with all ISO, AATB, & FDA requirements pertaining to the Customer Service Representative role.

The Organ Placement Specialist (OPS) is responsible for coordinating all aspects of organ transplantation including contacting recipients for wellness checks, through organ implantation at the transplant center facility during business and non-business hours including weekends and holidays. Acts as a liaison between our transplant center partners and various organizations including but not limited to OPOs, HLA staff, Operating room staff and medical transportation companies.
