The Best Podcast about Film and TV
Host Jake Cannon has a particular interest in the forgotten, disreputable and under-appreciated movies and TV shows of the past few decades and he uses the Look Back Machine to reveal the less glamorous side of Hollywood filmmaking. What’s it like to direct a Disney Channel original movie? How did a producer of the Tracey Ullman Show end up creating Rugrats? Who thought that cartoon about Siegfried and Roy’s tigers was a good idea? All those questions and more are answered by this essential podcast.
Great listen
Great podcast. The editing is incredible, it’s great how the host cuts around the questions and lets the guest’s responses form the narrative flow. These are underrepresented titles, and it’s awesome to get this depth of insight into them.
More episodes coming?
These episodes are awesome, and your topic selection is hilarious. Stumbled upon this while I was searching for a podcast on the movie Clifford.
Keep up the good work!
