Salary range $97,208 – $158, 389

Which is exactly where you come in – you’ll manage and deliver engineering projects associated with the analysis of hydraulic, hydrological, meteorological and environmental data and provide modelling assessments and engineering design of civil infrastructure with a water focus.

About You:

Your enthusiasm for spatial analytics/geographical information systems (GIS) and the possibilities it brings is evident.  In addition to your extensive technical experience, you are:

  • Tertiary qualification in GIS or a related field
  • 5 + years of experience in GIS and spatial analysis or remote sensing data management
  • High level of proficiency in ArcGIS
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Self-aware with a desire to learn and grow, and to mentor others
  • An analytical thinker, with the ability to solve complex problems
  • High level of computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite of products

About the role:

In this newly created role, you’ll be joining a small but capable team working together to support spatial data management, geographical information systems, mapping, spatial analysis and projects. Working in an agile environment, you’ll work directly with stakeholders to improve and influence ways of working. With an ambitious roadmap planned, you’ll be consistently learning and developing. Further, experience in cartographic presentations skills for spatial data and GIS output, remote sensing and photogrammetry would also be highly regarded.
