The UNESCO Chair on Global Understanding for Sustainability is dedicated to addressing cultural, social and regional dimensions of global sustainability in research, education and policy. As part of a network of over 850 UNESCO Chairs in 117 countries worldwide, it serves first and foremost as a “laboratory of ideas” for the development of innovative program proposals.
Your responsibilities:
Your profile:
- Completed academic university studies in a relevant field of study with a social science or humanities focus
- In-depth knowledge in the field of sustainability and the (SDG’s)
- Administrative experience that involves collaboration and partnership with other professionals within and outside academia including faculty and students across disciplinary boundaries
- Excellent written and spoken English skills as well as fluency using MS Office are essential. Good Spanish and French skills are desirable
- Experience with (digital) international communication and cooperation tools including online meetings, conferences, webinars etc. is essential.

- Remuneration based on the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Sector of the Federal States (TV-L) to salary scale 13 — depending on the candidate’s personal qualifications —, including a special annual payment in accordance with the collective agreement.
