Job Summary
The incumbent will lead in the execution of activities in the WRAP Project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance in the development, and analysis of project activities
- Support the team in the implementation of project activities to manage natural resources;
- Identification of strategic locations/areas for specific interventions (e.g., areas for natural restoration, water conservation, etc.)
- Leads the development, management, and implementation of the Environmental Management and Adaptation Plan
- Identify and establish a link between water conservation and sustainable livelihood
- Develop, implement, and document appropriate best practices in community-based approaches to water management
- Recommend and facilitate the implementation of a range of effective community-level initiatives to reduce environmental risks in the target area
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and project officers for data collection and assessment
- Facilitate technical assistance/support for stakeholders in all relevant areas as appropriateAssist in making a technical presentation and documentation of interventions
- Facilitate capacity building, awareness raising, and in other project activities

Employment Contract: Short Term (08 Months)
Work Week: 5 days (Monday through Friday) – 40 hrs /week
Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1715 hrs (with 45 minutes lunch & prayer break)
Selection Criteria
Education, Experience & Working Knowledge
- A minimum Master’s in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a relevant field
- At least five years of similar working experience in the implementation of community projects
- Good at the application of MS Office
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Physically fit for traveling/trekking in rugged mountain areas
- Familiarity with social, cultural, and geographical contexts
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implementation of project intervention
- High level of good organisational and administrative skills with an ability to work well under pressure;
