Summary: The Europe-based Analyst will play a key role in spearheading data-driven products and insights to Bluefield’s wide array of clients – from Big Tech and engineering services firms to hardware vendors and financial services firms. This position calls for a combination of industry insights and data analytics capabilities to develop real-time water market intelligence.
This is a great opportunity to leverage one’s core data and analytical skills through client-facing, commercial interactions with companies addressing the challenges facing the Europe’s municipal water sector.
Guide company strategies in water…
- Build and manage project databases, market forecasts, and project databases with data management tools.
- Lead a steady flow of deliverables to global clients, including written reports, presentations, forecast models, and client workshops.
- Initiate, write, and produce regular executive briefings, PowerPoint presentations and market forecasts, while becoming an expert in this growing field.
- Analyze the water industry trends impacting market development- regulations, project announcements, technology adoption, and macroeconomic influences.
- Support the needs of Bluefield’s other teams- consulting, sales, marketing– with critical insights into the changing Europe water landscape.
- Demonstrate to clients and team members a knowledge and expertise in the analysis of the Europe water sector, water technology, and overall market opportunities.
- Interact with clients on a continuous basis to identify commercial opportunities while providing market research, competitive analysis, and strategy support.
- Enhance your professional profile through speaking opportunities and participation in industry forums, summits, podcasts, and webcasts.
Show off your skills and experience:
- 1-5 years relevant experience, within the water, energy, infrastructure, market research, and consulting fields, preferred.
- Data management languages (i.e., R, Python, MySQL) interest and experience, preferred.
- Proficiency with MS applications required (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); experience with databases helpful.
- Experience with Tableau, Qlik, Sisense…etc., preferred.
- A keen attention to detail and highly effective organization skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated written communication skills in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Must be flexible to travel in Europe, globally.
The Basics:
- College or University degree, required
- Start-up company experience, preferred
- English Fluency required. At least one other language, French, German, Spanish, is strongly preferred.
- Relevant work permits and visas are required.
- The position will be managed from our Barcelona, Spain office.
