Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £39,000- £43,000 with excellent benefits

Locations: UK

Hybrid: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base. In order to apply for this post, you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK.

About the Team:
You will be a crucial player in the Digital Content and Experience team, working to manage and develop our UK social media channels and identify opportunities for shared campaigns with our corporate partners and celebrity ambassadors.

We’re looking for an ambitious and pioneering individual to join our cause and further our progressive social media strategy.
If that sounds like you, then take this incredible opportunity to become WaterAid’s Social Media Manager at one of the UK’s best-loved charities. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our UK office in Canary Wharf, London.

This is a role with a lot of independence and creative freedom, but you’ll also work closely with teams across the organisation on a range of campaigns and huge events, from Glastonbury Festival, to the COP climate summit.

About you:
You have a creative brain with a track record of producing brilliant social media content
You have proven experience of managing multiple social media channels
You’re a proactive and flexible worker – able to work independently with multiple deadlines, as well as collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders
You have a solid understanding of digital marketing and the social media landscape, including latest channel developments
You have leadership and motivational qualities, with the ability to drive change
You have an innate desire to work for an organisation and cause that values and respects human life and believes we must do better.

Although not essential, we’d prefer it if you:
Have skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro
Have experience presenting to camera such as broadcast training or through your own content creation
