Position Summary | The Water Resources Graduate Program invites applications for a part-time (.30 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term, Instructor position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Department Head. This position is expected to last approximately 4 weeks.This is a summer only hire. The position exists for the purpose of teaching the process and theory behind the conduct of collaborative, interdisciplinary research. The target student audience for the course consists of students in the Water Cooperation and Diplomacy track of the Water Policy and Management program, as well as professionals in the water resources fields who need to collaborate in their work. |

Position Duties | 10% – Develop curriculum for WRP 548 that is designed to engage and challenge students.90%- Teach WRP 548; provide mentoring to students in applying concepts to the student theses. |
Minimum/Required Qualifications | A Master’s degree in a field relevant to water policy and management, such as public policy, environmental sciences, social sciences, water resources, geography.Experience in the course subject matter via professional experience or academic training. |
Preferred (Special) Qualifications | Experience in conducting interdisciplinary, collaborative research and publication of research results.A PhD in a field relevant to water policy and management, such as public policy, environmental sciences, social sciences, water resources, geography.A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. |
