Do you enjoy working in a global context to deliver practical benefits for wetlands and people?

This exciting opportunity has come up within our International CEPA (Communication, Capacity Building, Education, Participation and Awareness) Team to deliver world-class CEPA projects across the wetland world. With wetlands still disappearing and degrading at pace, we urgently need to work with partners to deliver great CEPA projects at wetlands locally, nationally and across flyways.

The Role

As our Project Manager, you will identify, develop and deliver projects, building on our existing global networks of wetland partners, and create a financially sustainable model that supports WWT to grow this area of work.

You will develop and deliver initiatives that enhance connections between people and wetlands. This will be achieved through short and longer-term partnerships, offering consultancy advice, and strengthening existing CEPA networks and projects run by WWT. Your track record of fundraising should enable you to work with grant-givers, major gift, commercial, and corporate sources. You will also work to develop our ground-breaking Wetland Learning Hub over the next five years, a flagship project for supporting conservationists globally.

About You

To join our International Engagement team as our Project Manager you’ll need:

  • Experience of leading large-scale inspiring environmental engagement projects and on site CEPA activities.
  • Knowledge of managing visitor interpretation projects at visitor centres
  • A track record of managing projects to time and within budget, whilst working creatively to deliver solutions in a multi-cultural environment
  • Great communications skills to develop and foster high level relationships with a wide range of global partners.

If this sounds like you, then click apply and come and join our friendly and ambitious International Programme team dedicated to our vision of a world where healthy wetland nature thrives and enriches lives.
