Role Description
About the Role
This role is for a Research Fellow on agricultural climate mitigation, and will require strong quantitative skills. The Research Fellow will develop a next generation farm model in collaboration with colleagues within Cranfield. The tool will be used to investigate ambitious climate mitigation scenarios within agriculture, whilst balancing other essential needs such as food production and other environmental goals. This role will involve both quantitative and qualitative analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
About You
You will hold a PhD in a relevant subject (or be close to completion, in which case you would be appointed as a Research Assistant until completion of your PhD) and have experience in a relevant area such as agricultural systems, environmental science, computer modelling and development, or statistical methods. You will have excellent communication skills, and be confident to work both independently and as part of a team.
