Offer Description
The post is for a permanent position. The area of research is Hydraulic Structures, Maritime Engineering and Hydrology.
Requested research duties: the prospective professor will operate within the framework of the Academic Discipline ICAR/02 (Hydraulic Structures, Maritime Engineering and Hydrology) focusing the research activity on one or more of the following topics: mesoscale water resources management, water and energy nexus, quantification of the impacts of climate change, and the other anthropic pressures, on water resources, and on the water of the water cycle in general, also concerning their quality status;
Requested teaching duties: Teaching activity in courses at Bachelor, Master and Doctorate (PhD) levels in the fields typical of the Academic Discipline ICAR/02 (Hydraulic Structures, Maritime Engineering and Hydrology)
Expected salary: starting salary of Full Professor.
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 15

Specific Requirements
Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the academic recruitment field 08/A1 or one of the academic recruitment fields included in the same group of academic recruitment fields 08/A and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification “idoneità” according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Full Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Full Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to “Full Professor” (according to ministerial equivalences).
