20 Liters

Grandville, MI, USA 🇺🇸

20 Liters is Hiring an Executive Director!

20 Liters is a non-profit organization. We equip vulnerable people with water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions that are simple, effective, and long-lasting. Since our work began in 2008, 20 Liters has reached more than 212,000 people in rural areas of Rwanda with access to clean water. We are a small, but dedicated community of passionate volunteers and donors who are committed to putting people first, believing that creating genuine and lasting change requires creating spaces where people can volunteer, work, and give as their authentic selves.

The 20 Liters Executive Director leads the implementation of 20 Liters’ programs while developing the operational capacity of the organization by cultivating philanthropic support and developing leadership volunteer capacity to support program activities in both the U.S. and in Rwanda through our implementing partner. In addition, the Executive Director is responsible for managing 20 Liters’ financial instruments, information technology, and facilities. Finally, this staff member is responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders about the current work of the organization. These stakeholders may include donors, volunteers, subscribers, partner agencies, and board members.

20 Liters is looking for a dynamic leader who thrives working with volunteers, has experience in fundraising, and is excited to make dirty water clean. As the sole full-time staff member based in the U.S., the Executive Director will enjoy a great deal of autonomy and have the opportunity to make their own schedule in alignment with achieving organizational goals.
