Description

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is the state agency responsible for ensuring clean air and water, the safe management of toxics and hazards, the recycling of solid and hazardous wastes, the timely cleanup of hazardous waste sites and spills, and the preservation of wetlands and coastal resources.  

(1).    Assist the Communication and Outreach Technical group with preparing monthly meetings; training videos; providing new ideas for creating training materials for Drinking Water Program staff and water suppliers; and updating outreach materials on Drinking Water Program’s web page. 
(2).    Assist in developing outreach material and templates for lead services lines,  lead plumbing materials, cybersecurity, and emergency response planning.
(3).    Assist in outreach for attracting applicants from a diverse background for certified operator entry level training opportunities.
(4). Participate in staff meetings. 
(5).    Assist with other Drinking Water Program tasks including, forms development,  data entry and research.”
