Offer Description
Study of self-depuration processes in natural and built water bodies. Experimental and modeling analyses of the interactions among hydrodynamic transport, dynamics of microbial biomass and vegetation, and reactions of nutrients and contaminants in riverbed sediments, soils, and artificial porous media. Control and design of such processes for water quality management.
