Offer Description
The research fellowship activities will be carried out within the project “Improved Access to Water to Strengthen Food and Nutrition Security for Vulnerable Families in Namibe”, funded by Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua. DAGRI is a project partner for the topic of water resources management. The research fellow will be responsible for identifying sites suitable for the construction of water harvesting works in a GIS environment, will have to provide support to local technicians for the rehabilitation/construction of water harvesting works and water points, participate in training and provide support to the local population also with supervision of field activities, monitoring and data collection, interaction with project partners and writing of reports. Part of the activity will be carried out in Angola. The fellowship holder will also participate in the project meetings and will collaborate in the writing of reports and any scientific articles”.
