Offer Description
In the field of water resources management, the provision of forecasting services to support the planning of sustainable management operations is becoming increasingly important. To date, forecasting services focus mainly on the availability of water resources, while tools for forecasting the status of water quality are still limited with few practical applications. However, in light of the rapidly changing climatic conditions, greater attention should be paid to qualitative aspects: rising temperatures, floods and droughts in various ways can cause water management problems, for example by favoring massive algal blooms and the appearance of toxic species.
