Would you like to help deliver the exciting work of the Yorkshire Integrated Catchment Solutions Programme (iCASP) to practitioners, academics, and policy-makers? Are you educated to PhD level in a relevant environmental science discipline such as meteorology, hydrology, environmental science or climate science?

The programme requires an Impact Translation Fellow to work at the interface between academia and stakeholder organisations, solving problems facing industry and government with catchment dynamics including issues around nature recovery, green financing, flood forecasting, flood risk, geothermal energy, agriculture, water quality and resilience to climate change.

Reporting to the Programme Directors you will have the relevant technical ability together with strong computing skills. Working with partners and the flexibility or aptitude to work on a range of projects supporting the wider team if required will also be essential.

You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the team and with external partners. You’ll achieve results by being proactive and using your initiative to help report and promote impact for the iCASP Programme Team and to secure funding for regional initiatives
