U.S. nationals: Hydrologist GS-1315 GS-9/11

The Cherokee NF is hiring TWO GS-1315-09/11 Zoned hydrologists to expand its watershed and aquatics team. Duty stations will be Benton, TN and Greeneville, TN. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for both the Forest and the applicants to steward some of the most biodiverse watersheds in the National Forest System! Incumbents would be joining an active and integrated watershed restoration program. Duties would include field data collection, data management, geospatial reporting, program management, restoration project planning and implementation, support to other resource areas (timber, fire, recreation) and members of an interdisciplinary team, NEPA analysis, and more.
