Job Description

As a Regional Director within Water Engineering, Ireland, you will join a long-established, high-performing team in the delivery of the full range of consultancy services to strategic clients, including Uisce Éireann and Northern Ireland Water. With over 140 staff across five locations on the Island, long-term appointments and backlog, and a large future pipeline, significant opportunities exist for personal and professional growth.

In this role you will be a key member of the Water Ireland Leadership team, working with your peers to drive our growth and delivery objectives, with a particular focus on the Uisce Éireann Client Account, and on the development of our design-build portfolio.

Reporting to the Operations Director for Water Engineering, Ireland & Scotland, you will have the following key responsibilities:

Growth

  • Strategy alignment, positioning, bid leadership and governance.
  • Mining of existing framework appointments, securing reappointment, and winning new appointments.
  • Securing strategic pursuits.
  • Development of the design-build portfolio.
  • Selling new services to existing clients.
  • Uisce Éireann Client Account Manager.
  • Leading the UE CAM Team, which includes leadership staff, programme and project leads, senior project staff, technical leads, and complementary services from across the business, in a one-AECOM approach.
  • Client intelligence gathering, senior relationship development, and continued development of the zipper of client relationships throughout the team.
  • Engagement in the European CAM Group as directed by the Executive Director, Strategic Clients, enhancing the operation and effectiveness of the CAM Team.

Delivery

  • Support the Operations Director in achieving the financial plan and growth metrics.
  • Contribute to the continued development of our SHE culture.
  • Resource management, forecasting, and recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems.
  • People management, support, and guidance.
  • Support staff engagement.
  • Fulfil the role of Project Director/Approver to provide oversight of assigned programmes and projects in support of PMs and delivery staff.
  • Management of the existing Uisce Éireann Engineering Design Framework, including client management, reporting, pipeline, mini-comps, programme/project delivery, performance review, and client feedback.
  • Champion collaborative working across UK&I Water teams, end markets, and AECOM Enterprise Capability.

Qualifications

  • BEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Chartership with relevant institution.
  • Management experience.
