An opportunity has emerged for a motivated, self-starter to be an Environmental Water Coordinator at the Victorian Environmental Water Holder (VEWH).

In this role, you will contribute to assessing ecological objectives and outcomes, water planning and reporting processes, engaging key program partners and stakeholders and other cool things that support the program!

The VEWH is an independent statutory body responsible for managing Victoria’s environmental water entitlements, in cooperation with partners, to improve the environmental health of rivers, wetlands and floodplains.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary degree in science, engineering or natural resource management or a related field, or an equivalent accreditation or working/industry experience.
  • Experience working in the field of freshwater ecology.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 1 year. The work location for this position is flexible within Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
