About the Team:
The WaterAid Global Campaigns team plays a leadership role across the WaterAid Federation to drive the design and delivery of WaterAid’s global advocacy priorities. We deliver an ambitious agenda, grounded in national level change and impact.

About the Role:
In this role, you will help to drive forward successful delivery of the Policy and Campaigns Department’s priority projects that will help achieve our goals. You will bring your strategic planning and exceptional process management skills, your attention to detail and risk management, and event management skills to deliver on complex and high-profile projects.

You’ll also:
* Coordinate and input to the delivery of major outputs and assets including quality and narrative checks
* Ensure clear processes are established and followed for each project (eg sign off processes, in line with WaterAid guidelines)
* Input to strategic decisions, especially in order to point out or question interdependencies, opportunities and risk
* Support project leads/sponsors with key meeting scheduling in line with project governance (e.g. ensuring consultation meetings with the right people at the right time, ensuring decision-making meetings are planned in advance)
* Record keeping: risks, actions, stakeholders, monitoring and evaluation, outputs, communications and agreed budgets
* Line manage one staff member, providing managing and coaching support, potentially through remote management (depending on location).

To be successful, you’ll need:
* Ability to advise and lead on project management practices to support achievement of strategic goals – including governance, planning, budgeting and risk management
* Ability to advise and lead on best practice event organising and management, particularly in which an objective is to reach alignment using negotiation or persuasion
* Ability to advise on best practice stakeholder management processes
* An excellent understanding of internal communication best practice, especially for teams operating across multiple countries
* A good understanding of good management practice and theory.

West Africa Senegal Grade F – 22 933 445XOF – 33 480 591XOF
