Job Description

The Framework Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management – Planning and ensuring mobilisation, implementation and demobilisation of the resources required to deliver projects under the framework
  • Leading the coordination and development of the remote team
  • Preparing the work package contract conditions and information, and overseeing the delivery of the services under the PSC contracts – ensuring the packages are delivered on time and within budgets.
  • Collaborating with Mott MacDonald Technical Practices to embed and communicate our technical excellence within the framework
  • Proactively dealing with issues which are escalated to this level
  • Monitoring and reporting framework delivery performance
  • Attending client meetings for governance and reporting as required
  • Supporting the Framework Director in ensuring all Key Performance Metrics are met or exceeded
  • Supporting the Framework Director who will have ultimate responsibility for Mott MacDonald’s performance under the Framework Agreement and each Service Order and ensuring a successful relationship with the Client
  • Leverage opportunities to support the Framework Director to develop and continue to build specialist and innovative service workstreams.
     

Candidate Specification

  • Strong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi-disciplinary teams as well as Client teams
  • Excellent at building and using internal networks
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience with NEC PSC
  • Track record in delivering profitable design work
  • Flexibility to travel regularly for client meetings

Job Profile

Having been appointed to a UK water consultancy framework in 2020, Mott MacDonald have established ourselves as a key supplier and have delivered a wide variety of interesting engineering and advisory projects. We are looking for a new Framework Manager, someone who is keen to build on the good work done in establishing our key position on this framework and continue the development and diversification of the framework, to provide long term profitability for our UK water sector. 
This role will lead the framework team of Project Managers, Project Principals and assistants on a day-to-day basis and be supported by and work closely with the Framework Director, who will be accountable for the framework.
The role is expected to develop and evolve in line with the framework requirements and the candidates’ own skills and development areas.
