Open Position: Graduate Research Assistants (PhD)

Start Date: Summer or Fall 20

We are seeking a graduate research assistant to pursue their studies doctoral in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), on a project funded by the National Science Foundation. This student will work on an interdisciplinary team to perform research related to the development of sustainable GSI by leveraging social and environmental data through AI. The candidate should have their MS in Civil Engineering or related field, with a strong interest in water resources. Relevant experience in green stormwater infrastructure, geospatial data analysis (GIS), and a basic understanding AI and/or programming skills is beneficial, but not required.

This position falls under the Villanova Center for Resilient Water Systems (VCRWS). VCRWS has the mission to engage with society to create resilient engineered solutions for global water challenges.
