Full Job Description
Summary: Manage Ute Mountain Tribal water resources in cooperation with Tribal Departments and Tribal Enterprises on the Reservation and on fee lands
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in hydrology of closely relate field, or equivalent knowledge derived from on-the-job experience; a graduate degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience in water resource management; preferred experience with Colorado water rights and water administration.
Experience in well development, water use measurement, irrigation systems and general agricultural, municipal, and industrial water use.
Excellent skills in budget development, management, reporting and providing information in support of the audit process.
Physical ability to carry out the field work.
Ability to work remotely, away from the office, and to travel for professional purposes.
Valid driver’s license, and current First Aid and CPR certification.
