Offer Description
| The goal of the project NATURBPOND is to evaluate how naturalized urban ponds contribute to achieve key environmental objectives linked to the transition towards more sustainable cities and provide knowledge to support informed decision making by managers. Specifically, we aim at determining how NUPs contribute to i) climate change mitigation, ii) climate change adaptation, iii) sustainable use and protection of water resources, iv) protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems, and v) pollution prevention and control.The person holding the offered position will be responsible for the following tasks:Design and monitoring of samplings and experiments.Fieldwork for sample collection.Analysis of the samples to determine the effects in the community biological and the functioning of the investigated aquatic ecosystems.Statistical treatment of the data.Writing reports and manuscripts for publication |
