CTG recruits, deploys and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects, from cleaners to obstetricians, and mechanics to infection specialists, we’re skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilise at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in less than 2 weeks and have done so in 48 hours on a number of occasions.

Through our efficient and agile HR, logistical and operational services, CTG saves multilateral organisations time and money. We handle all our clients’ HR related issues, so they are free to focus on their core services.

Role objectives
Supervise and manage field staff and their activitiesAssure that MRRD approved manual and guidelines are followed and implementedSupervise & monitor the distribution and effective use of IEC materials in the target areasDirectly responsible for reporting from the field activities and achievementsInvolved in the process of data collection by filling in the baseline and end-line data collection in the target villagesConduct and facilitate health, hygiene & sanitation trainings at the provincial levelAssist RuWatSP team visiting the field level activitiesCompile data collected from HH, village and districts on monthly base and submit progress report and update the WASH MISResolve community conflicts in case of occurrence pertaining to this projectAccomplish the given assignments appropriately and in timely manner

Further informationQualification and skills:The Provincial Hygiene & Sanitation Officershould have at least bachelor or equivalent degree from a recognized instituteAt least four years of field experience in one of the WASH packages (water, sanitation or hygiene)Experience in CLTS and Family Health Action Groups is favorableExperience in working with community and community mobilizationFamiliarity with cultures of different Afghan communitiesVery good interpersonal communication skillsBasic information regarding Afghanistan MoPH BPHS systemAbility to implement hygiene and sanitation programs at the community levelMust be computer literate and familiar with basic computer software including MS Office and internet useAbility to supervise and manage a teamMust be able to communicate well in Pashto, Dari and English
