Water Group is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Water Resource Officer, Social Analyst to join the Water Evaluation & Reporting team.  The role operates as part of the Water Planning Implementation branch. The role will provide high quality advice and expertise to Water Evaluation and Reporting customers, customers within the Department and other members of the public.

About You

In this role, you will provide key social science technical expertise to contribute to the implementation and evaluation of water management plans to achieve sustainable management of NSW water resources.

This role is a significant opportunity to focus on developing improved social outcomes evaluation of water management plans and programs in a NSW and Commonwealth legislative context.

You will enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborating with diverse stakeholders within a complex and changing technical and policy environment. We also offer career development and advancement opportunities.
