Offer Description
The research activity will consist in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the water resource in the Alpine environment, through the physico-chemical characterization of the snowpack and surface waters, also with the use of innovative sensors. Particular attention will be paid to soil-water interactions from a “critical zone” perspective. The final goal will be to integrate the knowledge acquired with the aim of understanding the effects of climate change on high elevation areas, also in order to achieve forms of sustainable management of the Alpine water resource.
