Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Water Advisor LATAM to join the Customer Success team at Waterplan.
You will work in a fully remote distributed team across multiple disciplines at a science-oriented company.

About your core focus
Provide the customer with advice and guidance regarding water risks and suggestions around mitigation actions.
Reports to the Lead Senior Water Advisor
Main responsibilities include:
- Participate along the customer journey as a water subject matter expert and deliver Waterplans’ value proposition
- Deliver insights and recommendations to our customers through different actions according to their use case and purchase driver
- Own the quality and content of reports that are given to their clients. As such, provide direction and focus to the research needed for each of the assigned sites.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Water Advisor peers) as subject matter expert – on industry or region – to help our clients achieve their goals and delight them
- Be a catalyst to help advance our client’s knowledge on any water-related topic and collaborate with them to drive forward their business water strategies to boost their business resilience.
- Actively participate in providing feedback to the Product and Customer Success Managers’ teams regarding how to improve and expand our product(s) and services.
- Build internal expertise through formal and informal training.
- Proactively research and share trends and developments from the different industries with the rest of the team and/or organization
Processes or Tasks (that should be included in processes) Involved
- Analyze productive unit and catchment data, propose scenarios, propose tailored mitigation actions, put together presentations, use the WP platform, create tailored reports.
- Helping clients define water commitments, build water reduction plans, scope water stewardship initiatives, navigate water responses, and submit reports
Skills and Qualifications
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable presenting to C-suite/VPs/Directors.
- Ability to self-train.
- Deep knowledge of Hydrology, equivalent to a Master’s degree in Hydrology/Geology/Civil Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of the private sector’s water needs and priorities.
- Ability with Google Suite (Spreadsheets/Presentations/etc.)
- Hands-on attitude
Requirements
- +10 years Experience as a Water Resource Management Consultant or similar positions
- Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese
