The Commission is seeking an intern to work in the Water Resource Planning Section to help improve the Commission’s data analysis capabilities and long term water supply planning efforts.
This is a paid position. Students majoring in environmental science, geology, engineering or planning are encouraged to apply.
Duration:
Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week, May – September 2023
Location:
This internship will be in-person at the DRBC’s office building, 25 Cosey Rd. West Trenton, N.J.
Job duties include:
Database population and queries
Researching and evaluating water withdrawal data, reservoir releases and construction history
Compiling locational data for permits and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyses
