Reporting to the Director Rural Water Policy and Programs (RWPP), the Program Support Officer will provide high level administrative and project support to the Director and RWPP branch more broadly, in line with policy and program directions.

Are you:

  • Highly organised and able to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders?
  • Savvy with challenging diary management, meeting coordination, maintenance of administrative support systems and procedures?
  • Willing to support and coordinate projects with a focus on logistics, processes and administrative efficiencies?
  • A well-developed verbal communicator, with interpersonal skills and experience to respond to detailed, confidential, and sensitive matters with a high level of tact and judgement?
  • Able to liaise with representatives of other divisions of DELWP, senior managers, other government organisations and external stakeholders on a range of matters, often requiring sensitivity and confidentiality?
