The Water Resources Division of the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department is seeking people energized about working with communities to solve water issues to fill two open positions. It is anticipated that one engineer will assist with feasibility study efforts associated with developing a regional desalination facility and optimizing the use of Salinas Dam/Santa Margarita Lake, and the other engineer will focus on advancing our County-wide Master Water Report and associated collaborative groundwater, watershed, flood and drainage technical planning efforts.
Placement and assignments will depend on qualifications and experience. Those who have qualifying water-related experience and a Civil Engineering license are encouraged to apply.
