As an Assistant Resource Specialist II on the Water Efficiency Team you will be responsible for assisting with projects and programs related to water efficiency. You’ll have the opportunity to assist with the research, design, implementation, and maintenance of a variety of water efficiency programs. Those programs cover both residential and commercial/industrial customers in areas focused on landscaping and plumbing efficiency. Other areas will include assisting with writing, reporting and management of grants.
Your working experience with resource conservation and efficiency in addition to your ability to effectively research, organize, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing are critical to your success in this position.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Assistant Resource Specialist I classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: work experience with resource conservation and efficiency (water, electricity, natural gas, or other similar resources)
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
