Water Group is currently seeking to appoint a Modeller to join the Floodplain Management to plan and undertake hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using statistical and model simulation techniques, for the purpose of informing floodplain management policy and planning in NSW.
About You
In this role you will be working within a small technical team responsible for assessing the impact of existing and potential future floodplain infrastructure using hydraulic, spatial and ecological disciplines. As a Modeller, you will undertake investigations and analysis to create hydraulic models, which will contribute to the development of floodplain management plans and assesses the impact of various floodplain structures. You will have demonstrated capabilities in working on complex and time sensitive projects and be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience developing and analysing hydraulic models, and other hydrologic analysis techniques.
