Altenew Mighty Kind Stand Alone Dies Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

19 October 2021

Welcome to the Mighty Kind Stand Alone Dies Release Blog Hop and Giveaway Blog Hop. If you have hopped over from Svitlana Shayevich's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Blog.

I created two cards with products from this release using:

  • Be Kind Die Set
  • Pop Up Dahlia Die Set
For the first card I painted loose roses and leaves and added doodled lines. I cut out the Be Kind Die in pink and white.

The white background of the Be Kind Die makes the pink stand out. Try out different colours as background to create a variation of effects.

The second card uses the Pop Up Dahlia Die Set.  This die set is super fun as it doesn't cut out a full image. It cuts out parts which you can pop up. I picked a colourful patterned and added some black cardstock to add contrast. A sentiment stamp and some doodled hearts finish it off.

What has caught your eye in the release?

I am going to take this one in a strange direction. Your dahlia die cut card makes me think of a pet sympathy card- like an abstract rainbow bridge.
