Total Lunar Eclipse Jan 20, 2019

You don't need a special filter or telescope to see one of nature's wonders... just a clear sky.  (well, a pair of binoculars is nice).  
BEWARE: Some eclipse sites give the time in UT, where it occurs on Jan 21.  It is the EVENING of Jan 20 in the US.  To change to EST, subtract 5 hours; for CST, subtract 6 hours; for MST, subtract 7 hours; for PST, subtract 8 hours.  The event occurs at the SAME TIME EVERYWHERE but your time zone will be different depending on where you are.   Check the timing chart below for your time zone.
