Timeline Update

Project Ensemble is less than 80 days away from our first go-live!  With a staged approach, we will begin going live with Blackbaud for our Advancement teams on February 1st.   About a month later, we will go-live with Oracle Finance at all three colleges.

Our Future

Project Ensemble represents significant opportunities to leverage new cloud technology.  In just a few months, we will have implemented many of the modules seen here and by the end of 2019, almost all will have been implemented.  Our institutions will all benefit from modern cloud technology, three colleges implementing together and extensive process redesign.

Oracle Human Resources/HCM

Kendra Smith, Associate Director, HR Operations, Saint Michael's College conducted a demo of our Oracle Human Resources/HCM solution on November 7th at our Project Ensemble Team Meeting.  Participants were able to see a glimpse of their future user experience with a demo, including the functions of adding personal social content (Kendra loves to walk her dog and do yoga), reviewing her timesheet, requesting time off and viewing her college directory.

Elizabeth Scott, Champlain College, along with nine other advancement professionals from across Champlain, Middlebury and Saint Michael's College, attended bbcon the week of October 8th.

Elizabeth shared that this was "the best conference I have ever been to."  This annual  Blackbaud conference for advancement professionals included over 200 breakout sessions, and provided excellent opportunities not only to learn more about new tools, but to network with industry experts, Blackbaud leadership and peers.
