Join the MDC staff as we prepare for spring turkey season! Learn about turkey hunting safety, biology, habitat, calling, regulations, and hunting methods. Participants 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Mentored hunting opportunities will be available for first-time turkey hunters age 11 to 15. Hunts will be April 7th and 8th and will take place in Boone and/or Cooper counties. A limited number of hunts are available and attendance at this program is mandatory to be considered.
