Susan Finlayson, DNP, RN, Senior Vice President of Operations for Mercy Medical Center, Named One of Maryland's "Top 100 Women"

Susan Doran Finlayson, DNP, RN, Senior Vice President of Operations for Mercy Medical Center, has been named one of Maryland’s “Top 100 Women” by the Maryland Daily Record newspaper.  

According to The Daily Record, a record 435 women were nominated this year. The nominees were evaluated based on applications outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, mentoring experience, as well as letters of recommendation. 

“With this distinction, Susan joins the ranks of leading Maryland women making a difference in our State. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Senior Management team at Mercy, we thank Susan for her ongoing service, her strong commitment to Mercy’s values, and all her diligent work on behalf of our patients,” said Thomas R. Mullen, President and CEO, Mercy Health Services, Mercy Medical Center.

The Daily Record will host an awards program to honor Susan and her fellow winners on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, MD.
