Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION & OVERALL GOAL
This conference will address current and emerging issues in TB. The topics will cover diagnosis and treatment of TB infection, TB and HIV co-infection, managing TB in immunosuppressed persons, TB and diabetes, and local TB elimination strategies. The format will include lectures, case studies, and interactive discussion. The conference will also promote networking, resource sharing, and collaborations among TB colleagues from Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, and Virginia.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is open to physicians, nurses, epidemiologists, public health field staff, infection control practitioners, and healthcare professionals who are involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with TB infection or disease.
