Missouri Sen. Mike Moon made headlines this week after comments made during a debate Tuesday.
Marc Cox gave Sen. Moon a chance to address the allegations.
“He set a trap, and I walked right into it,” Sen. Moon said. “I do not support child marriage, especially between an adult and a child.
I don’t support rape in any form or fashion, and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Sen. Moon also spoke on Bill SB39, which would ban gender-affirming care for transgender youth in the state.
"These kids are being abused, and their bodies are being mutilated. I think they need protection beyond that."
