UPS worker caught on video stealing Christmas packages

Talk about a modern-day Grinch.

A man who appears to be a UPS worker has been caught on camera stealing a package that he was supposed to deliver to a customer.

On Wednesday, a YouTube user named Steve S uploaded a video from his security camera exposing the perp.

“Los Angeles UPS Driver Helper stole a package that he was delivering to my neighbor,” he captioned. “He clearly did not notice the building security camera.”

The 46-second clip shows the man passing the gate, opening a package on the customer’s doorstep, and taking what appears to be a PlayStation controller and stuffing it into his sweater before walking away.

The video quickly caused outrage on social media.

“Why wait for porch pirates?” wrote TV reporter Scott McGrew.

A UPS rep told The Post, “UPS has worked with local law enforcement on this issue and the suspect is no longer employed by the company. UPS also has resolved the situation with the customer and is ensuring they receive the present in time for the holidays.”
