Tafel: Marketing Internship Summer 2019

Tailored Marketing is looking for a dynamic intern who will be responsible for assisting and supporting the marketing team with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the advertising industry. We are also willing to support any student interested in earning academic credits, will even work around your school schedule. This internship is a part-time position that will require a time dedication of 14 – 16 hours per week. However, we understand that your schooling is the most important thing, and we agree, so we will work with you to ensure you get the most out of this experience and meet your internship hour requirement while making sure you get to all your classes on time.

Marketing Intern Responsibilities:
  • Collecting quantitative and qualitative data for marketing campaigns
  • Performing market analysis and research
  • Writing for internal blogs and client ads
  • Monitor social channels for industry trends and news
  • Supporting the marketing team in daily tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (i.e. social media, email marketing)
  • Help organize marketing events
  • Aiding and creation of marketing content calendars
  • Have fun on a daily basis
  • We will also aid interns in becoming google certified as well as Hub Spot certified

Qualifications:
  • College student or recent graduate with emphasis in marketing, advertising, branding or public relations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Word programs and ability to learn other programs (Hootsuite, HubSpot, Facebook, Mailchimp, etc.) – Prior knowledge of these platforms a plus
  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
