Tafel: Tier1 - Technology Sales Internship

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, Tier1 is a fast growing technology company that provides various services and software products to companies across the US. The Sales Internship opportunity will give aspiring sales professionals a good introduction to the rewarding and lucrative software and IT services industry.

We are looking for Sales interns for fall and winter of 2018/2019. Candidates must be enrolled in college and able to commute to our office in Wexford, PA and work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The selected interns will work closely with Tier1’s sales team, sales management and marketing team to help generate leads and drive attendance to Tier1 webinars using creative email / marketing campaigns.  

 

·  Enrolled in college and majoring in Business, Marketing, or a related field

·  Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

·  Positive attitude and initiative needed to see projects through from start to finish

·  Sales experience or high-tech industry experience is a plus

·  Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

·  Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

·  Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment

 

·  Provide prospecting assistance to Senior Sales reps at Tier1, Inc.

·  Prospecting will be targeted and done via email automation

·  Researching prospective customers via LinkedIn, Google, etc. and working closely with the sales team to analyze best ways to market Tier1’s services and products

 

·  Hourly pay (minimum of 20 hours per week)

·  Location: HQ – Wexford, PA (ability to travel to location is required)
