Financial Analyst/Research Internship
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Description:
Hunter Associates seeks a financial analyst/research intern who is highly motivated, detail oriented and curious. Candidate must desire to gain exposure to the financial industry and must have an interest in pursuing a career in investments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support the senior research team
· Research companies, industries and domestic and global markets
· Assist with statistical models for security classifications
· Complete independent projects and specific research assignments
· Aid in preparation of materials for investment meetings
· Perform data analysis
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
· Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program; must have completed at least two years.
· Familiarity with Bloomberg (specifically API) and R Statistical software
· Some research experience with a quantitative focus
· Excellent work ethic and an appreciation for finance and investing
· Basic knowledge of investment concepts
