    When we started his show, we did so unattached to any particular outcome other than to spark thought and contemplation around a broader perspective; how a shift in perspective can affect meaningful change in our lives - individually and collectively speaking.

    Fast forward to a year and a half into the SHIFT - 30 episodes! - and we want to be more intentional with the direction we are headed, for ourselves and our growing listening community.

    Sometimes in order to move forward with intention, we need to pause, purposefully... being present in that pause, so we can move forward with deepening purpose and impact.

    And if you have been tuning in, you'll know a primary thread woven into our message has always been taking the time to reflect and understand what we are doing, how we are operating in our day-to-day lives and why we are doing it - or are we upholding the status quo simply because it's what we have always done... perhaps because it is easier than being a bit uncomfortable with something we have never done before.


    The more we can understand ourselves, the better equipped we are to navigate these times of constant change. However, we need to carve out time in order to apply the wisdom gleaned along the way.

    We can't fully see something when we are in it. Whether the "it" is a situation, environment, relationship dynamic, belief systems, the stories of illusion we live in, or something else.

    When we are enmeshed in something, the perspective is not always clear.

    There is an attachment emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually or any combination of these. We might remain in situations that are not serving us any longer because we have created a story we hold on to that makes us feel better about something that isn't really good for us, and isn't in alignment with who we are now.

    We simply can't see it because we are in it.

    Attachment is root of all suffering: - Buddha

    That attachment is what sometimes keeps us stuck, and often we can make something more difficult than it truly has to be... we get in our own way, and in the process give away our power and agency over our own being.

    Often the simplest thing is the most difficult because it might be uncomfortable to do something we haven't done before, and it is easier to just stay where we are. When we do that, we perpetuate our own suffering.

    In this episode, we'll talk about the perspective shift that letting go of the attachment gifts us, and how we can reclaim our power within. And we'll share some tips and questions we can work with to "let go."

    In this episode, we'll continue our conversation about the transformation that occurs when we immerse ourselves in nature - the act of "naturing" - and what wisdoms we can glean about ourselves, the way we live, anllowing some deeper truths to surface that can help us heal, evolve and grow.

    There is a difference between going into nature and being immersed and connecting with it as part of us.

    We are nature. And so immersing ourselves in nature expediates the process of remembering who we came here to be. Nature is our medicine.

    When we immerse ourselves in it... when we are "naturing", we can experience a shift in our being - being present, listening and observing.

    This is our original and natural state of being.

    Naturing is the process of remembering that which we came here to be, being open to being reminded of that in a multitude of ways in our dailiy lives, and uncovering what has been buried within us - individually and collectively speaking.

    This is the first show of our 2nd season and we are so excited to begin anew with a conversation about the transformation that occurs when we immerse ourselves in nature - Release, Refresh Recharge and immersing ourselves in the wilderness.

    There is a difference between going into nature and being immersed and connecting with it as part of us.

    We are nature.

    When we immerse ourselves, everything shifts from the trailhead to the top and back again - being present, listening and observing...

    There is an energetic exchange happening... being in our own wilderness, releasing and resetting our energy, building our intuitive muscle.

    This opens the space for more of our intuition to flow - and the more we strengthen that inner knowing, the more it opens us up to endless possibilities for creating the life we desire!

The podcast we all need to heal humanity!

I’m so glad and grateful this podcast and space exists. The conversations Trish and Diane have had so far with us all on this beautiful podcast have been so transformational and eye-opening, leaving me with so many things to ponder and reflect and think about. These are the discussions that will truly help heal humanity. They unpack their vulnerability and the emotional shadow-work we need to witness more often. These two authentically show up as themselves and truly go with the flow, including embracing imperfection, down to leaving technical difficulties in the podcast instead of editing them out and covering them up. These two are paving the way for more comfortable conversations about generally uncomfortable topics, helping us challenge the status quo and really shift and transform our lives so we can be the best versions of ourselves. This podcast truly feels genuine and real, and like I’m sitting in the room with Diane and Trish, in a safe space, embraced by this beautiful loving energy, and isn’t that all that we could ever ask for in a podcast? 🧡
