Description
This project can utilize the skills of many in your congregation, from publicity, to pastoral care for those who donate guns, to operating power tools, to safely handling the guns themselves. The concept is this: invite persons in your community to safely surrender guns that they no longer want. Dismantle the gun by cutting it with a chop-saw power tool. Send the leftover parts to RAWTools, the organization that will turn them into garden tools. Our vision is that churches across the nation will be known as safe places to dismantle unwanted guns and prevent those firearms from causing harm.
