Action Research Mini-Grants Awarded!
Mini-grant award letters were emailed last night and included "Getting Started" instructions as well as information about a Q&A online meeting scheduled for February 20, 2018.
Mini-Grant Award winners, please note the February 23, 2018 deadline for submitting your updated Budget Request and AiA Connecting Outcomes, Criteria, Actions + Evidence form. Links to these forms can also be found on the Mini-Grant Resource webpage.

Project Not Funded? Update Your Proposal for the Second Round of Funding!
If your project was NOT funded in the first round, we ENCOURAGE you to update your proposal and resubmit it. You DO NOT have to re-write your proposal to resubmit it. Simple update your project's Budget Information and complete the AiA Connecting Outcomes, Criteria, Actions + Evidence form to be considered for the second round of funding.
The Due Date for resubmitting your proposal is February 14, 2018. The Mini-Grant Team will make the final award decisions by February 16, 2018.
Meet Jessica Koshi-Lum, your Action Research Librarian Coordinator
Jessica is currently working as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Highline College and has previously worked at Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu, and Shoreline Community College just north of Seattle. She has worked on a number of innovative grant funded projects, bringing 3D printers to Kapiloani's Library as well as an arts-based MakerSpace to Shoreline Community College where "students could hone their creativity."
As an academic librarian, Jessica has supported the research activities of many scholars and undergraduate students and she writes that she "cares deeply about seeing that our community's information needs are met and I hope to bring that energy to this grant project."
